Bank
The bank is your personal finance hub. Open a bank account and you unlock savings, fixed deposits, loans, credit cards, and a full credit score system. Access it from the Assets panel on the main screen.
Opening an account
Tap Assets → Bank and press Open Account. Your starting credit score is 500 (fair). From here the bank splits into three tabs: Overview, Savings, and Loans.
Overview tab
The overview shows your financial snapshot at a glance:
| Field | What it means |
|---|---|
| Credit Score | 300–850 gauge; determines loan eligibility and interest rates |
| Savings Balance | Cash sitting in your savings account, earning daily interest |
| Total Debt | Sum of all active loans + credit card balance |
| Net Worth | Savings + fixed deposits − total debt |
| Interest Rate | Current savings rate (fluctuates over time) |
| Interest Earned | Lifetime interest earned from savings and matured deposits |
You can also hire a financial adviser (5 gems, 30 days) from this tab — more on that below.
Credit score
Your credit score ranges from 300 to 850 and recalculates every 7 days based on four factors:
| Factor | Weight | What helps |
|---|---|---|
| Payment history | 40% | Never miss a loan or credit card payment |
| Debt-to-income | 30% | Keep total debt low relative to your salary |
| Account age | 15% | Time since you opened the account (maxes out around 360 days) |
| Loan diversity | 15% | Having different loan types (up to 3 unique types) |
| Range | Label |
|---|---|
| 800–850 | Excellent |
| 740–799 | Very Good |
| 670–739 | Good |
| 580–669 | Fair |
| 300–579 | Poor |
Pay every loan on time and let your account age grow — these two factors alone cover 55% of your score.
Savings
Deposit and withdraw cash freely. Your savings balance earns daily interest at the current savings rate (starts around 4.5% annually, but shifts over time with rate-change events).
- Deposit — moves cash from your wallet into savings.
- Withdraw — moves savings back to your wallet.
Interest compounds daily: the longer you leave money in, the faster it grows.
Fixed deposits
Lock money away for a set period at a higher rate than regular savings. Available terms:
| Term | Rate bonus |
|---|---|
| 30 days | Base fixed rate |
| 90 days | +25% over base |
| 180 days | +45% over base |
| 365 days | +45% over base |
When a fixed deposit matures, the principal plus earned interest is automatically added to your savings balance. You can withdraw early, but you lose 50% of the interest earned so far.
Fixed deposits lock your cash — you cannot use it for rent, loans, or emergencies until the term ends (or you break it early at a penalty). Only deposit money you won't need soon.
Loans
Five loan types are available, each with different caps, rates, and requirements:
| Loan | Max amount | Rate range | Term | Min credit | Requirements |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Personal | 10,000 | 11–22% | 60–180 days | 400 | — |
| Auto | 50,000 | 7–15.5% | 90–360 days | 500 | — |
| Mortgage | 500,000 | 4.5–10.5% | 360–720 days | 600 | Employed |
| Student | 20,000 | 5.5–9.5% | 120–360 days | 350 | Active education |
| Payday | 2,000 | 38–58% | 14–30 days | — | — |
Your actual interest rate depends on your credit score — higher score means lower rates. The maximum you can borrow is also capped by your income: the bank won't approve more than what you could repay using 50% of your daily salary.
How repayment works
Loan payments are deducted automatically every day from your wallet. If you have enough cash, the payment goes through and your balance drops. You can also manually pay extra or pay off the entire remaining balance early from the Loans tab.
What happens if you miss payments
| Missed streak | Consequence |
|---|---|
| 1 | Credit score drops −10 per miss |
| 3 consecutive | Debt collectors activate — warning in your diary |
| 5 consecutive | Mortgage → foreclosure (lose your home). Other loans → arrest (14 days) |
Payday loans have brutal rates (38–58%) and very short terms. They are a last resort — use them only when you need fast cash and can repay quickly.
Credit card
Apply for a credit card once your credit score reaches 500. Your limit and interest rate scale with your score:
- Limit — ranges from ~1,000 (score 500) to ~10,000 (score 850).
- Rate — ranges from ~26% (low score) down to ~16% (high score).
The card accrues daily interest on any outstanding balance, and a small minimum payment is auto-deducted each day. If your balance exceeds 150% of the limit, debt collectors activate.
You can make manual payments from the Loans tab to pay down the balance faster.
Loan shark
Need cash with no credit check? The loan shark lends up to 5,000 — but at 58–100% interest rates with 14–30 day terms. No credit score requirement, no questions asked.
The catch: miss 3 consecutive payments and the loan shark's enforcers show up, dealing −20 health. They reset after each visit, so the beatings repeat if you keep missing.
Loan shark debt is separate from your bank record — it doesn't affect your credit score, but it can kill you. Literally.
Bankruptcy
If your total debt becomes unmanageable, you can file for bankruptcy from the Overview tab. This wipes all loans and credit card debt, but:
- Credit score drops to 300
- Bankruptcy flag lasts 360 days — you cannot take new loans or apply for a credit card during this period
- Credit card is cancelled
You can skip bankruptcy early for 10 gems, which clears the flag immediately and bumps your score back to at least 450.
Financial adviser (gem feature)
Hire a financial adviser for 5 gems to get 30 days of improved rates:
- Savings rate increases by 25%
- Fixed deposit rates increase by 25%
- Loan interest rates decrease by 15%
The adviser timer shows on the Overview tab. Stack it with fixed deposits for maximum returns.
Random events
The bank is affected by events that happen as you play:
- Interest rate changes — savings rates can shift up or down randomly, affecting both new deposits and daily interest.
- Identity theft — your credit score drops 30–80 points. You can spend 3 gems to fix it and recover +50 points.
Strategy guide
Early game
- Open an account as soon as you can — account age is 15% of your credit score.
- Deposit spare cash into savings for free daily interest.
- Take a student loan if you're pursuing education — low rates and no job needed.
Mid game
- Start fixed deposits (90+ day terms) for better returns on money you don't need right now.
- Apply for a credit card once your score hits 500 — useful as an emergency buffer.
- Consider a mortgage if you want to buy a house without saving the full price upfront.
Late game
- Keep your credit score above 750 for the best loan terms and highest card limits.
- Use the financial adviser before opening large fixed deposits to maximize interest.
- Never miss payments — a single streak of 5 missed payments can cost you your home or your freedom.
Interest rates and credit score formulas may be adjusted for game balance.
