Housing
Housing is one of the most important investments in the game. Your home determines your maximum stats, gives daily stat bonuses from both the property itself and any furniture you place, and can even generate passive income when you rent out properties you own.
Open the Assets panel, then tap House to access two tabs: Properties and Furniture.
Properties
The Properties tab shows your current home at the top, followed by all available properties. Each property card displays its value (buy price), rent price (daily cost if renting), capacity (furniture slots), maintenance cost (daily cost if owned), and stat effects.
Available properties
| Property | Value | Rent/day | Maintenance/day | Capacity | Effects |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tent | 520 | 2 | 0 | 1 | +5 max energy |
| Derelict House | 2,600 | 10 | 1 | 1 | +10 max energy |
| Regular House | 5,200 | 20 | 1 | 2 | +20 max energy, +10 daily energy |
| Love House | 4,700 | 18 | 2 | 2 | +15 max morale, +10 daily morale |
| House with Garden | 6,900 | 27 | 2 | 3 | +20 max energy, +20 max morale, +5 daily energy, +5 daily morale |
| City Apartment | 8,650 | 33 | 1 | 3 | +10 max energy, +10 max morale, +5 max health, +5 daily each |
| Mansion | 43,100 | 166 | 5 | 8 | +45 max energy, +40 max morale, +30 max health, +5 daily each |
| Castle | 60,500 | 233 | 10 | 14 | +25 max energy, +20 max morale, +20 max health, +5 daily each |
Renting vs. buying
You have two ways to move in:
- Rent — Pay the daily rent price. Cheaper upfront, but if you can't afford rent one day you get kicked out automatically and lose all placed furniture arrangements.
- Buy — Pay the full property value once. You only pay the smaller daily maintenance cost. You can never be evicted, and you can rent out owned properties you're not living in.
Renting is fine early on when cash is tight. As soon as you can afford it, buy your home to lock in the lower maintenance cost and open up passive income from renting.
Renting out properties
If you own a property but aren't living there, you can tap Rent Out to earn its rent price as daily passive income. This means owning multiple properties is a legitimate investment strategy — buy cheap, live somewhere else, and collect rent.
Tap Evacuate to stop renting out a property (e.g. if you want to move back in).
Moving between properties
When you move to a different property, all your placed furniture is unequipped (but not lost — you still own it). You'll need to re-place furniture in your new home.
Furniture
The Furniture tab lets you buy and place items inside your current home. Each piece takes up capacity slots and provides stat effects while placed.
Available furniture
| Furniture | Price | Size | Effects |
|---|---|---|---|
| Alarm Clock | 50 | 1 | +5 max morale |
| Bed | 150 | 1 | +5 daily energy, +5 max energy |
| Radio | 150 | 1 | +5 daily morale |
| Portrait | 200 | 1 | +5 daily morale, +5 max morale |
| Toilet | 200 | 1 | +5 daily health, +5 max health |
| Security System | 200 | 1 | Prevents theft events |
| Couch | 200 | 2 | +5 daily energy, +5 max health, +5 max morale |
| Shower | 200 | 2 | +5 daily health, +10 max health |
| Television | 300 | 1 | +5 daily morale, −5 daily health, +5 max morale |
| Bathtub | 400 | 3 | +5 daily health, +5 daily morale, +10 max health, +10 max morale |
| Computer | 600 | 1 | +10 daily morale, −5 daily health, +10 max morale |
| Game Console | 600 | 1 | +15 daily morale, −10 daily health, +10 max morale |
Capacity management
Your current home's capacity determines how many furniture slots you have. A capacity-bar at the top of the Furniture tab shows how much space is used.
- Each furniture piece uses 1–3 slots.
- You cannot place a piece if it would exceed capacity.
- You can detach furniture to free up space (the item stays in your inventory).
Entertainment furniture like the TV, Computer, and Game Console boost morale but reduce health daily. Balance them with health-boosting items like the Toilet, Shower, or Bathtub.
Furniture states
| Badge | Meaning |
|---|---|
| In Use (green) | Currently placed in your home and providing effects |
| Owned (blue) | Bought but not placed — sitting in storage |
| (no badge) | Available for purchase |
Theft events
There is a 1% daily chance of a thief breaking into your home:
- If you have a Security System placed, the thief is caught and nothing is stolen.
- If you don't have one, a random piece of furniture is stolen permanently (removed from both placement and ownership).
- If you have no furniture at all, the thief finds nothing to steal.
The Security System costs only 200 and takes 1 slot. It's one of the best investments in the game — buy it early.
Strategy guide
Early game (low budget)
- Rent the Tent (2/day) to get a home location and unlock home-based actions.
- Buy a Bed (150) for daily energy recovery.
- Save up and upgrade to the Regular House when you can (buy if possible for 5,200).
Mid game (stable income)
- Buy your home to stop paying rent and reduce daily costs.
- Fill furniture slots with a balanced mix: Bed + Toilet + Portrait covers energy, health, and morale.
- Buy the Security System to protect your furniture.
- If you can afford a second property, rent it out for passive income.
Late game (wealthy)
- Upgrade to the Mansion or Castle for massive stat bonuses and furniture slots.
- Buy and rent out multiple smaller properties for stacking passive income.
- Fill all slots with high-value furniture — Bathtub, Computer, and Game Console pair well with health items.
Property prices and effects are fixed. Furniture effects stack with property effects — the bonuses shown on your home card reflect both.
