Bartender

Bartenders work the bar location: high mixology demand, steady communication growth, and a strong tip economy driven by random shift events. It is one of the clearest “service plus craft” loops in the game.

Key skills

  • Mixology — primary craft stat; gates every promotion after the entry level.
  • Communication — customer handling, drunk patrons, and many event branches.
  • Calmness can appear when you de-escalate instead of brawling.

The mixology course is not optional for the mid ladder: master bartender expects that training. Buy and finish it before you camp the bar expecting a promotion.

Day loop

While employed, the game tends to move you to the bar for workdays. Shifts increment cocktails served (with variance), train mixology, and sometimes communication. Random events fire often—tips, recipe quizzes, trouble customers, and occasional fights.

Career quest: Bartender Career

Typical milestones include:

  1. Serve 100 cocktails — comes naturally from working; tracks with service statistics.
  2. Promote to master bartender — proves you cleared the rank and course gates.
  3. Earn 300 in tips — cumulative tips from bar life (event-driven).

Reward money helps you pivot to another career or fund education.

Tips are event-driven. If the quest stalls, keep working and favor tip-friendly event choices when skills allow—do not only wait for base wages.

Strategy

Stack communication early so drunk-customer and rush events hurt less. Keep health and energy out of the danger zone; bar fights and bad shifts punish low pools hard.
