Gems & boosts

Gems are the premium currency in Life Simulator Reloaded. They are rarer than cash and are meant for clutch saves, skips, and exclusive purchases—not for bypassing every minor inconvenience.

What gems buy

Typical spends include:

SpendWhy use it
Decision boostsTip high-stakes choices in your favor (legal trouble, romance locks, career gambits). You can still fail, but the odds improve.
Mini-game skipsInstantly pass timed challenges when you are about to lose a reward or take a penalty.
Market (gem-priced items)Gear, cosmetics, or utility items sold for gems instead of cash.
Prison lawyer15 gems — hire representation for a large sentence reduction (a chunk of your remaining time, with a minimum cut); the game may limit how often this applies in a given situation.
Guard bribe5 gems — some prison interactions expect a small gem payment (repeatable where the game allows).
tip

Think in days saved and unique rewards: if a boost prevents a week of jail or saves a one-time reward, gems are well spent.

Decision boosts vs. mini-game skips

  • Boosts improve your chance of success on a choice—you can still fail; use when the upside is huge and you are close to passing.
  • Skips remove having to play the challenge—best when the mini-game is new to you or timing would ruin a fair attempt.

See Mini-games for per-game tactics so you need fewer skips over time.

Best value purchases (general guidance)

  1. Lawyer (15 gems) when you have many prison days left—a long sentence means a bigger slice of time saved.
  2. Skips on first-time quest steps that gate story packs or trophies you cannot easily redo.
  3. Boosts on all-or-nothing decisions where failure wipes stats or relationships.
  4. Gem market items only for things that unlock actions or lasting convenience; skip pure flavor unless you enjoy the flex.

Avoid gem-spending loops on problems you can solve with cash and time—usually better to work another in-game week.

tip

Hoard a small emergency stack (e.g. 10–20 gems) if you play ironman-style; one bad encounter should not end a long run for lack of a few gems.

Earning gems

Income sources vary by how you play and by store offers (in-app purchases, rewards, events). Treat gems as budgeted, not infinite—the toughest spends assume you sometimes pay real money or accumulate slowly, so spend deliberately.

Costs can change in updates—always check the in-game confirm dialog before you spend.
