Celebrity module

The celebrity pack adds a fame path: public attention, star-making jobs, and story beats that treat your character as a public figure instead of an anonymous citizen.

Fame​

Fame tracks how widely you are known. Higher fame:

  • Unlocks premium jobs, especially acting and performance-related careers
  • Ties into quests and achievements around spotlight moments
  • Changes social reactions — people recognize you more often

Fame works best alongside looks and performance skills you can train in the base game — casting and big breaks often check several stats, not fame alone.

Acting and entertainment​

The pack supports actor / entertainer style careers:

  • Audition-style steps and promotions through the job system
  • Story choices and events around press, scandals, and big breaks
  • Money can spike when you hit it big, but downside events also show up (public shame, stalker-style beats, and similar)

Streaming​

The streamer career lets you build a personal channel and grow an audience:

  • Personalized channel — choose your channel name and content category (gaming, IRL, music, tech, creative) when you start
  • Subscriber system — your follower count grows over time and directly affects earnings and viewer counts
  • Stream series — multi-day events with random encounters like trolls, raids, donations, copyright strikes, and viral moments
  • Gaming PC upgrades — buy and upgrade a gaming PC at the electronics shop for better streaming performance, up to level 5
  • Mini-game — the Go Live action uses a tap-targets mini-game that gets easier with a better PC

Streaming and acting are both fame careers but play differently: actors chase auditions and movie releases, streamers build a subscriber base and manage their channel daily.

How to become famous (strategy)​

  1. Unlock the celebrity pack and take a job that puts you in the public eye.
  2. Train relevant skills (performance, speech, looks where the game asks for them).
  3. Engage with pack events — repeated positive beats usually raise fame faster than waiting.
  4. Reinvest income in education or grooming if something blocks the next tier.

Fame without savings is risky. Bad press can hit morale or money; early on, keep a normal job in mind as a backup.
