Monster hunter module

The Monster Hunter pack adds hunts in the dark forest and related areas: buy a zombie tracker, get daily detection rolls while you carry it, fight different monster types, loot materials for crafting, and upgrade the tracker through five levels.

Hunter’s guild and flow

  1. Unlock the pack and travel to guild-related locations (see your in-game map).
  2. Buy a Zombie Tracker — it enables daily detection while you have it on you.
  3. When something is detected, use hunt actions with gear like a rifle, silver dagger, or holy water.
  4. Spend drops (zombie eyes, bone fragments, essences, and similar) to level the tracker — higher levels let stronger and rarer monsters appear.
tip

Upgrades use different material mixes at different levels; farm what you need for the next step so you can reach level 5 for the full monster pool, including demons.

Monster types (at a glance)

TypeWhat to expect
ZombieCommon to very rare tiers; early ones are easier, late ones are much tougher
SkeletonBone loot; middling difficulty
WitchEssence- and powder-style drops; magic-themed attacks
DemonShows up with a high-level tracker; among the hardest fights

Exact toughness and rewards scale with rarity in-game — you’ll see it when you fight.

Detection

Each day, the tracker can roll whether a monster appears and which kinds your current level allows. Higher tracker level means riskier encounters but often better loot.

Your attacks (examples)

You get options like rifle shots, silver dagger strikes, throwable holy water, and enemy patterns such as bites, punches, and spit that get nastier on tougher foes.

Quests and achievements

There are kill count goals (for example milestones at 1, 10, 100, and 200 zombies), first epic / first legendary style feats, and rewards for a maxed tracker. Quests tie into buying the tracker, first kills, and crafting beats.

warning

Hunting costs health and ammo. Stock food and know how to reach care before long forest grinds — illnesses from the base health system still apply.
