These terms apply to the online mode of Life Simulator (Life Simulator: Reloaded), a shared world in which your character lives in one of eight cities (İstanbul, New York, London, Berlin, Paris, Rio de Janeiro, Manila and Ankara) in real time, next to the characters of other real players. By creating an online character you accept these terms, the community rules below and our privacy policy. The offline game is separate and is not affected by them.
01Who can play
You may use the online mode if you are allowed to use Life Simulator under its App Store age rating. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.
Every character is an adult inside the game: the online world is role-play, not a place to meet people in real life. Players under 13 get a limited experience with preset chat lines only, and no free text, photos, posts or direct messages. Romance and direct messages only ever happen between players of the same age group.
02Your account
You sign in with Apple; we do not ask Apple for your name or email address. One Apple ID holds one online account, and an account has one living character at a time. Keep your device secure: anyone using it can play as you.
You can delete your online account in the app at any time. Your characters, messages, posts and photos are deleted; we keep only what safety requires, such as the record that an Apple ID is banned.
03Your character’s life
The world runs in real time. While you are away, your character follows its plan and focuses on its own; manual actions, romance and some rewards need you. A character that nobody looks after for 30 days dies. You are warned before that, and vacation mode pauses the clock within its limits. After a death you can start a new life.
Diary entries, notifications, messages, posts and similar history are kept for up to 60 days, venue chat for 7 days.
04Community rules
Be kind. Do not:
- harass, bully, threaten or stalk anyone;
- post hate speech or insult people for who they are;
- post sexual content, or turn romance beyond what a 12+ game shows;
- glorify violence, self-harm or drugs;
- share personal information, yours or anyone else’s: real names, addresses, phone numbers, schools, social media handles, or ask for them;
- ask anyone’s real age or try to move a conversation outside the game;
- spam, advertise, or impersonate other players, staff or real people;
- cheat, use bots or scripts, exploit bugs, or run more than one account.
These rules cover character names, status messages, blog posts, comments, venue chat, direct messages, gift notes and photos.
05What you create
What you write and upload stays yours. You give us permission to store it, show it to other players in the game, and check it for safety for as long as it is in the game. Only upload photos you have the right to use; do not upload photos of other people without their consent, or of children.
Some ways of publishing need a Life+ subscription: writing blog posts and status messages is one of them. Reading, liking and commenting are open to every player aged 13 and over.
06Moderation and reports
Names, texts and photos are checked automatically (word lists and an automated moderation service) and by our moderators. Photos appear only after they pass review. Anyone can report any player, name, post, comment, message or photo from the game; reported content may be hidden while we look at it, and we aim to decide within 24 hours. You can block any player; a block hides you from each other.
07When rules are broken
Depending on what happened, we may remove content, reset a name, warn, mute (no writing for a while), switch off online access for a period, or ban an account for good. A banned Apple ID cannot open a new online account. The offline game stays available in every case.
If you think we got it wrong, write to [email protected] from the app’s support link and tell us your character’s name.
08Virtual items and Life+
In-game cash, items, titles and gems have no value outside the game and cannot be traded, sold or exchanged for money. Gifts bind to the player who receives them. We may rebalance prices and rewards to keep the world fair.
Life+ is an optional auto-renewing subscription billed by Apple. It adds convenience, looks and social features; it never sells experience, money, energy or ranking points. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings; refunds follow Apple’s rules.
09Changes and availability
The online world is a live service. We may add, change or remove features, rebalance the game, pause it for maintenance, or, with notice in the app, close it. When these terms change in a way that matters, the app asks you to accept the new version before you continue. To the extent the law allows, the online mode is provided as it is.
