Items overview
Life Simulator Reloaded uses items for survival (food, medicine), progression (books, training tools), combat (weapons, ammo), careers (electronics, uniforms), and module-specific fantasy (prison contraband, hunting gear, mystery rewards).
Categories
Items are grouped in the UI by category labels (food, drinks, weapons, electronics, books, tools, drugs, hunting, etc.). Categories help you browse the market and understand effects at a glance—always read the effect text before bulk-buying.
Market system
Most legal goods appear at the market, specialty shops (gun shop, electronics, hospital, Hunter’s Guild), or job-related vendors. Some items are prison-only, black market, or gem-priced. Prices and availability can depend on location, privileges, and whether you already own a unique piece (one-per-character flags).
Using items
Usable items are spent or triggered from inventory: they may restore health, energy, or morale, grant skill or stat progress, or start interactions (phone calls, quests). Passive items apply while carried—training gear, trackers, reputation belts. A few items risk confiscation or breakage; see Prison items and Hunting items. Gems can shortcut some purchases; treat them as emergency budget, not your primary grocery money.
Before long trips or crime sprees, fill cheap stackables (food, drinks) and one emergency consumable. Unique tools (blueprints, trackers) are better bought once at the right location than panic-purchased mid-crisis.
