Events & random encounters

Life Simulator Reloaded runs on situations that fire as you play: where you are, what you own, your job, and optional story packs all feed into what can happen next. What feels “random” is usually weighted chance plus hidden prerequisites (skills, story progress, how far along a relationship is).

How events trigger

Common moments when something new can happen:

  • Day pass — start or end of a simulated day; good for weather, news, maintenance, and ambient life.
  • Location change — arriving somewhere can spawn encounters (school, street, workplace).
  • After specific actions — finishing a job shift, using an item, or resolving a choice.
  • Story packs — crime, celebrity, and monster content add their own encounters on top of everyday life.

Events can show as logs with popups, choice dialogs, or quiet changes to your stats—always read the text before tapping through.

dica

If an event “never happens,” you are usually missing a location, minimum stat, or story step. Progress the main loop a few days elsewhere, then return.

Random events during day pass

Day-pass events simulate life noise: small wins, small losses, social pings, illness teases, opportunity knocks. They keep long runs from feeling sterile.

Handling them:

  • Stable meters first — low health, energy, or morale skew outcomes toward harsher branches.
  • Save gems for branches that threaten jail time, major stat loss, or quest failure if you play hardcore.
  • Note recurring patterns — some chains repeat daily until you complete a milestone.

School events

School content clusters around education, social growth, and early career seeds. Expect truancy vs. study tradeoffs, bully or friend arcs, and skills that pay off much later in your character’s life.

Prison events

While in prison, events lean on relationships inside jail, prison reputation, and fights. Outcomes can reduce sentence, start brawls, or offer risky choices. Read risk carefully: a short temper can extend your stay.

Monster encounters

Monster storyline content adds combat-style and exploration encounters—often tied to specific places, gear (trackers, weapons), or quest stages. Preparation beats rushing in blind: gear, skills, and escape options matter.

Some story branches block each other: if something feels “locked out,” you may have already gone down a path that rules out the other outcome earlier in the run.
